Volendam is a relatively small village and popular tourist attraction in Holland. Its popularity with sightseers has made it a teeny bit kitschy, but Volendam’s iconic status isn’t just a coincidence. Indeed, Volendam might just be the most picturesque village in Holland. The village is known for its traditional fishing boats, adorable rows of wooden houses, and typically Dutch clothing. Volendam has a beautiful little harbor, a cheese shop, museums, good restaurants and lots of fish stands.
Mooi gedaan zonder touristen. No Dutch costume photos? Peet
Hahaha, deze keer niet! Als kleuter hebben mijn ouders me wel op de foto gezet 😉
Great pictures! I like the one of the little birdies at the end!
Thank you! 😀
What a nice town in North Holland! I have been to Edam once before and I think Volendam was the location of the harbor of Edam? Those pictures are fantastic.
Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s right! Thank you!
