One sunny day back in October I decided to hop on my bike and cycle to the Amsterdamse Bos. I thought it would be nice to take a few photos of the autumn leaves, but stumbled upon this empty outdoor pool instead.
It was getting to be late in the afternoon and the golden light cast stretched shadows. An older couple was having a picnic by the side of the pool, but there were no other people around, giving the place a kind of estranged, but alluring character.
I quickly took a few shots, appreciated the moment, and rode back home!

Wauw, prachtige kleuren!
I like the colours of these ones.
The first pic has great geometric lines and composition, Roselinde. I think it’s the best of the lot.
Thank you! I think that one’s the better one too.
Absolutely amazing pics, could go straight into a professional photography magazine! Love it! X
Thanks so much Roos!! 😀 xx
