In your lifetime, you’ve probably seen over 1000 photos of the Eiffel Tower. I thought writing an informational post about the iconic monument would probably be a bit redundant. So, today, I’m doings something different. It’s been a while, but it’s time for another photography challenge!
Find the Humans
Scroll back up and keep your eyes sharp. How many people can you find climbing the Eiffel Tower?
So, did you find them? I think I counted about 19 in all photos. Can you beat me? There’s one “trick” photo. I challenge you!
Paris in December
I took these photos whilst in Paris last December. The sun was setting in the late afternoon and beamed on Eiffel Tower, creating beautiful orange hues.ย Lots of tourists were still waiting in huge lines to start climbing the Eiffel Tower or take the lifts. I’ve seen the Eiffel Tower many times before, but I’ve never climbed it. Maybe I will one day (though I’m not sure the lines are worth it).
Have you seen and/or climbed the Eiffel Tower before?
It’s not such a hard climb and much more rewarding- plus shorter waiting time than a lift. You can only climb to the 2nd level though- still quite a good effort. I love the view looking down the middle. Great captures of the light on the iconic. regards Peet
Thanks for your comment! ๐
I’ve spent a lot of time in Paris. Love it. Have climbed the tower several times, and also dined at the Jules Verne restaurant there. Nice post!
Thanks for your comment! Paris is a wonderful city, one of my favourites ๐
After living here for 3 years, last summer I finally climbed the Eiffel tower! I lucked out on a fairly chilly night when the lines weren’t long at all. It’s quite the climb! And the view is magnificent. Though you can actually find similar heights elsewhere in Paris, with views equally spectacular, so don’t worry. You didn’t really miss anything world shattering ^^
Thanks a lot for your comment! Glad to know, if I ever do decide to go anyway, I’ll make sure the weather isn’t too great! ๐
I love ur photos as always!!! ๐
Thank you very much Lilly! ๐
Even using a magnifier I only get 19 people and a “maybe”. Never been to Paris and hope to be able to see it one day. Ireland, England, Netherlands, and Italy will have to be first though. Great shots of the Eiffel Tower, Roselinde.
Thanks! Yeah, I was in doubt about one more person too ๐ Cool, sounds like you have a lot of travelling to do!
Hi! Thank you so much! Your photographs are amazing!
Thank you! ๐
Would love to climb it! At least I say that now! I know my legs would be sore, but still on my bucket list!
Hahah yeah, same here. Just don’t think about that part I guess! ๐
Exactly!
The lines tend to be for the lifts – I’ve never waited more than 20 minutes to climb it. It may be touristy, but it’s so worth it!
Oh yeah, I think you are right about that one. There were some serious lines for buying tickets as well though (I think), but I now feel more encouraged to actually climb it next time. Thanks for your comment! ๐
I’ve been there, but never climbed it.
Yesterday, we had a user on Yonderlist rate their Paris experience out of 10. You should share your opinion too. We’d love to hear from you.
