Hello again! As promised, I’m here to post Part II of Gold Beach, located along the coast of Arromanches-les-Bains. “Gold” was the code name for this landing beach during D-day 1944. Nowadays, this beach is a true tourist attraction, with lots of tourists strolling around and children playing in the sand. The adjoining shoreline is full of souvenir shops and little cafés, as well as a small museum. I visited the beach in May, so imagine this spot to be even livelier (or crowded) during summer months.
